Easy Knitted Socks: Fun and Fashionable Designs for the Novice Knitter
This is a nice up-to-date book, with clear pictures and diagrams. There are a bunch of different constructions, including 2 needle socks. There are socks and booties for babies and kids. I like the love-heart slippers, of course, and I think I may have enough cascade fixation left to make them. The ribbon-and-lace stockings are glorious too, although I'm not sure if I would make them in this kid silk haze-y yarn.
