I was curious about the idea of mosaic knitting, and how it worked. Basically, you knit each row twice, slipping the stitches that are in a different color. This saves you from having to carry two colors at one time like fair isle. It producies a cool squarey module with a lot of possibilities.
For my knitting time, though, I'd rather do fair isle. Holding two strands isn't that hard for me, since I already knit continental despite learning the opposite.
But I'm glad I got this book to understand the concept. I tried a few swatches out and feel like it's one more thing I could do if I wanted to!
