Sigh of Relief -- Done by Christmas and Looks Great

I've been a bit of a maniac for the past month in a half.  Having conceived the idea of spinning and knitting Dabysan a Durrow sweater a bit too close to the Christmas season to be realistic, I went into full tilt spinning and knitting mode.  There were some late nights and very early mornings involved.  But I'm so happy about how it came out.  He's looking lean and mean and the sweater really highlights his workout.  If only you could feel how cushy this hand spun Corriedale feels.  It was really a joy to work with, if a bit intense. 

In contrast we had a sweet holiday here in Victoria -- missing our respective families, but surrounded by really lovely friends and nice mild (occasionally sunny) weather.  Soon, off to sunny Hawaii!
