Hats for Babies! And blankets for babies, too!

This is absolutely amazing! A while a go, I posted on Ravelry, and here, that we needed hats and receiving blankets for the babies in town, and this is what I have received from four people so far, it's fantastic! Everyone that I have shown thinks it is amazing that so many people give so willingly and freely, even with the cost of shipping it here. There aren't enough words to say how happy it makes me to see these handmade items. It certainly makes me feel as though we aren't as isolated here as we sometimes think. Thank you to ckartist, skipper, samm, and corcrafts. These are their Ravelry tags, so if you happen to be on there, you should stop by and see their projects, and pass on a good word to them for their hard work. I can't believe the response we've had, and I can't wait to receive more packages. I really feel like it's one of the ways that I have been able to give back to this town, and I want to thank eveyrone for helping me do that.
