This was less focused and 'scientific' in my opinion than the previous book I have read on this subject. However, I still enjoyed the perspective Susan Gordon Lydon offered in how knitting has shaped how she remembers her life. For instance, the projects she chose to knit often reflected a problem she desired to solve in general. For instance, when struggling with feelings of loneliness and intimacy, she mastered the art of lace. The description of lace as a void that provides comfort was inspiring.
I was unaware this is an unofficial sequel to another book she has written... which I will surely pick up at my next trip to the library.
